How we protect clients and barbers on every booking.
Every barber on a paid plan goes through identity verification before they appear on the platform. We confirm who they are and that they hold the credentials needed to work in their state.
Verification is not optional for active listings. If a barber's credentials lapse, their listing is suspended until restored.
Every listing represents a real, working barber at a real shop. We do not allow inventory listings, fake profiles, or unverified accounts to appear in search results.
All payments are processed by Stripe, which maintains PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance, the highest level of payment security certification.
BookAnyBarber does not store your card number, CVV, or bank account details. Those are held directly by Stripe under their own security systems. We only see what is needed to display your payment history (last 4 digits, card brand, transaction amounts).
For card-based bookings, your card is authorized but not charged until your appointment is completed. If you cancel, the authorization releases automatically with no charge on your statement.
This protects you from being charged for appointments that did not happen, and protects barbers from clients who book and disappear.
Every connection to BookAnyBarber uses TLS 1.2 or higher. Sensitive data including license documents is encrypted at rest. Passwords are stored only as cryptographic hashes, never in plain text.
If a booking, charge, or barber interaction did not go as expected, email bnrcustomerservice@gmail.com within 10 business days. We respond within one business day.
Most issues are resolved through direct communication. We will work with you and the barber in good faith to make things right.
Wallet-paid bookings are refunded to your wallet immediately on cancellation. Card bookings cancelled before the appointment release the authorization with no charge.
For service-quality concerns at completed appointments, refund requests go to the barber first. If the barber is non-responsive or the situation involves a violation of our Terms, we will mediate.
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Our Terms explain why this matters.
If a barber or client engages in harassment, threats, fraud, or other prohibited conduct, use our dedicated Report page. Reports are reviewed within one business day and may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
We do not sell personal information. Client booking history, identity, and personal details are never made public. Only barber profile information (shop name, services, public reviews) is intentionally indexed for discovery.
