1. Who We Are

Barber Network Registry LLC ("BNR") operates ListedBarber.com and BookAnyBarber.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform.

2. Information We Collect

From Barbers (ListedBarber.com):

• Name, email address, phone number
• Business name, city, state, service descriptions and pricing
• Booking history, revenue data, and BQS score data
• Bank account information — collected and stored exclusively by Stripe. BNR never stores raw banking data.
• Profile content including AI summary text
• Device information, IP address, browser type, and session data
• Login timestamps and account activity logs

From Clients (BookAnyBarber.com):

• Email address and name
• Booking history and appointment records
• Wallet transaction history
• Payment method information — collected and processed exclusively by Stripe. BNR never stores raw card data.
• City-level location data used to find nearby barbers
• Device information, IP address, browser type, and session data
• Behavioral data including pages visited, features used, and booking patterns
• Waitlist participation and bid history

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account
• To process bookings, payments, refunds, and payouts
• To calculate and display BQS scores
• To send booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and platform notifications
• To power AI discoverability features — barber profile data is structured for indexing by AI assistants
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud and abuse
• To enforce our Terms of Service
• To comply with legal obligations including tax reporting (1099-K)
• To generate anonymized, aggregated analytics for platform improvement
• To communicate material changes to Terms, fees, or platform features

4. Payment Data and PCI Compliance

All payment processing is performed by Stripe, Inc., which maintains PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance — the highest level of payment security certification. BNR does not store, process, or transmit raw card numbers, bank account numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive payment credentials. 5. AI Discoverability — Important Disclosure

A core feature of the BNR Platform is making barber profiles discoverable by AI assistants including ChatGPT, Siri, Google AI, Perplexity, and others. Barber profile information — including shop name, city, services, pricing, and BQS score — is intentionally structured as public data and made accessible to search engine crawlers and AI indexing systems.

By creating a barber listing on ListedBarber.com, you expressly consent to this public indexing and AI discoverability. This is a core feature of the service you are purchasing and cannot be opted out of while maintaining an active listing.

6. Data Sharing

BNR does not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• Stripe, Inc. — for payment processing, payout disbursement, and fraud prevention
• Supabase — for secure database hosting and user authentication
• Netlify — for website hosting and content delivery
• Google Analytics — anonymized, aggregated usage data for platform analytics. Google may process this data per their privacy policy.
• Law enforcement and legal process — when required by valid subpoena, court order, or applicable law
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of BNR's assets, with notice provided to users

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to Know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
• Right to Delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
• Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing — BNR does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

The BNR Platform is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information immediately. 9. Data Retention

• Booking and transaction records: 7 years from transaction date, as required for financial recordkeeping
• Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 90 days of verified account closure request, subject to legal retention requirements
• Behavioral and analytics data: 24 months rolling retention
• Payment data: Managed by Stripe per their data retention policy
• Legal hold: Data subject to active legal proceedings will be retained until resolution regardless of the above timelines

10. Data Security

BNR implements industry-standard technical and organizational security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS 1.2+), access controls and authentication, regular security reviews, and limited employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.

No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, BNR will notify affected users in accordance with applicable state law, including the Idaho Data Breach Notification Act (Idaho Code §28-51-104), which requires notification without unreasonable delay. For California residents, notification will comply with California Civil Code §1798.82.

11. Cookies and Tracking

BNR uses session cookies to maintain your logged-in state and essential platform functionality. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymized usage patterns. We do not use cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising. You may opt out of Google Analytics data collection at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

12. AI Style Preview & Image Processing

BookAnyBarber offers an optional AI Style Preview feature that allows users to visualize haircut styles using a selfie or uploaded photo. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Voluntary submission: Photos are submitted voluntarily by the user solely to generate AI style previews. You are not required to use this feature.
• Third party AI processing: Submitted photos are transmitted to and processed by third party artificial intelligence services for the purpose of generating style preview images. BNR does not perform AI image processing on its own infrastructure.
• No permanent storage: BNR does not permanently store photos submitted for AI style preview beyond the duration required to generate and return the preview image. Saved style results stored in your profile are retained until you delete them or close your account.
• No AI training: Your submitted photos and generated previews are not used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model.
• Likeness consent: By submitting a photo, you grant BNR a limited, temporary license to process your image solely for the purpose of generating your requested style preview. This license expires upon completion of the preview.
• Age requirement: The AI Style Preview feature is available to users 18 years of age and older only. Do not submit photos of minors.
• California residents: By using this feature you consent to the collection and processing of biometric information as described above under California law.
• Illinois residents: By using this feature you expressly consent to the collection and processing of your biometric identifiers as required under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA).
• Results disclaimer: AI-generated style previews are simulations for visualization purposes only. Results may not accurately represent how a hairstyle will appear in person. BNR makes no representations regarding the accuracy of AI-generated previews.

13. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. BNR is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

14. Changes to This Policy

BNR may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email and in-platform notification at least 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
