Terms of Service

Barber Network Registry LLC ("BNR")  |  Effective: April 4, 2026  |  Version 2.0  |  State of Idaho  |  United States Only
IMPORTANT: These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Barber Network Registry LLC. By creating an account, checking the agreement box, or using the Platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. About BNR and the Platform

Barber Network Registry LLC ("BNR," "we," "us," or "our") is a technology company operating BookAnyBarber.com and ListedBarber.com (collectively, the "Platform"). BNR provides marketplace technology that connects independent barbers ("Barbers") with clients seeking barbering services ("Clients").

BNR is not a barbershop. BNR is not an employer. BNR is not a party to any service agreement between a Barber and a Client. All barbering services are provided solely by independent Barbers. BNR provides only the technology platform that facilitates discovery, booking, and associated commerce.

All payment processing on the Platform is performed by Stripe, Inc. BNR does not hold client funds directly. Funds flow through Stripe's licensed payment infrastructure and Stripe Treasury.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. BNR does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

3. Electronic Agreement and ESIGN Compliance

By checking the agreement checkbox during account creation, you:

BNR records your user ID, timestamp, IP address, and Terms version at the moment of acceptance. This record constitutes binding evidence of your agreement.

4. Client Fee Schedule

All fees below are fully disclosed. The price shown before you confirm any transaction is the complete final price. No additional fees are added at or after checkout, in compliance with the FTC Rule on Unfair or Deceptive Fees.

4.3 Waitlist Fees

Example: You place a $10 bid. If you confirm: $2.00 goes to BNR, $8.00 goes to the Barber. If the slot never opens or you do not confirm within 15 minutes, your full $10 returns to your wallet.

The 60-Minute Rule: Waitlist notifications are only sent when an opening occurs at least 60 minutes before the appointment time. If a slot opens with less than 60 minutes remaining, it will be opened publicly rather than sent to waitlist members.

4.4 Disputes and Chargebacks

All wallet funding transactions are final and non-refundable. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting BNR is a violation of these Terms and will result in immediate account action.

By loading funds into your BNR wallet you acknowledge that chargebacks initiated with your bank or card issuer are a material violation of these Terms.

In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute filed by a Client:

Before initiating any dispute with your card issuer, you agree to first contact BNR at bnrcustomerservice@gmail.com and allow 5 business days for resolution. Accounts that follow this process in good faith and are found to have a valid dispute will receive a full resolution without penalty.

5. Client Wallet Terms

The BookAnyBarber wallet allows you to preload funds via Stripe for use on the Platform. You expressly acknowledge:

Upon account closure, wallet balances will be refunded via your original payment method, minus applicable Stripe processing fees, within 10 business days of request.

6. No-Show Policy

A "no-show" is defined as failing to arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment start time without prior cancellation. Upon a no-show determination: your full payment is forfeited with no refund, and the Barber receives the full service price minus applicable BNR fees.

BNR is not liable for any technical failure of the no-show enforcement system. No-show determinations are final once submitted by the Barber.

Clients with two or more no-shows within a 90-day period may be required to pay a full-service deposit at the time of future bookings.

7. AI Style Previewer & Credit Top-Up

7.1 What the AI Style Previewer Is

The BNR AI Style Previewer is an artificial intelligence feature that allows Clients to upload a photo and receive AI-generated style previews of potential haircut and grooming styles. Results are simulated and for entertainment and inspiration purposes only. BNR does not guarantee that any AI-generated preview will be achievable by any barber or match the final result of any service.

7.2 Previewer Credits

Access to the AI Style Previewer requires Previewer Credits purchased through the BNR platform. Credits are:

BNR reserves the right to modify credit pricing, consumption rates, or the Previewer feature at any time with 14 days notice.

7.3 AI Disclaimer

AI-generated previews are produced by machine learning models and may not accurately represent real-world results. BNR is not liable for any dissatisfaction with barbering services based on AI-generated previews.

8. BNR Client Shop

8.1 What the BNR Client Shop Is

The BNR Client Shop is a curated men's lifestyle marketplace embedded within BookAnyBarber offering grooming products, outdoor gear, apparel, and lifestyle accessories across three categories: Grooming, Grilling, and Chillin'. BNR operates the Client Shop as a purchasing facilitator — coordinating purchases from third-party retailers on your behalf. BNR does not manufacture, warehouse, own, ship, or take physical possession of any product sold through the Client Shop.

BNR operates under the same marketplace facilitator model used by Instacart (Nasdaq: CART) and DoorDash (NYSE: DASH) — publicly traded platforms operating in all 50 states. The retailer of record for all Client Shop purchases is the applicable third-party retailer (e.g., Amazon). BNR is the purchasing coordinator, not the seller.

8.2 Purchasing Agent Authorization

By completing a Client Shop purchase, you authorize BNR to buy the selected product from the applicable third-party retailer on your behalf, using your stored payment method and delivery address on file. This authorization is transaction-specific and does not grant BNR any ongoing purchasing authority.

8.3 Product Images & Descriptions

Product images displayed in the BNR Client Shop are sourced from third-party retailers and displayed for informational and purchasing facilitation purposes only. Images are the property of their respective retailers and brand owners. BNR makes no representations regarding image accuracy for color, size, or appearance. Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes and are subject to change by the retailer without notice.

8.4 Pricing & Full Price Disclosure

Prices displayed in the BNR Client Shop reflect BNR's platform facilitation fee embedded in the total price. The price shown before you confirm a purchase is the complete final price — including product cost, BNR's coordination fee, and all applicable sales tax. No additional fees are added at or after checkout.

BNR prices may differ from prices listed on third-party retailer websites. This difference reflects BNR's platform coordination service and is not a misrepresentation of the product's market value.

8.5 Live Pricing

Prices are sourced in real time from retailers and may change between browsing and checkout. If the final sourced price exceeds the displayed price by more than 5%, BNR will cancel the order and notify you before any charge is processed.

8.6 Product Availability & Fulfillment

All Client Shop products are fulfilled by third-party retailers. Product availability, shipping times, and delivery are subject to those retailers' inventory and logistics. BNR is not responsible for delays, out-of-stock items, or fulfillment errors caused by the retailer. If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, BNR will notify you and issue a full refund to your BNR wallet within 3–5 business days.

8.7 Client Shop Returns & Refunds

All Client Shop return requests must be submitted through the BNR platform within 14 days of delivery confirmation. Returns initiated directly with the retailer outside of BNR will not be honored. BNR routes all returns through the applicable retailer on your behalf.

Approved returns are refunded as BNR platform credits within 3–5 business days of retailer confirmation. BNR's platform facilitation fee is non-refundable once an order has been placed with a retailer, regardless of return outcome.

8.8 BNR Loyalty Credits — Client Shop

Eligible Client Shop purchases may generate BNR loyalty credits after a 30-day hold period, subject to the credit eligibility rules in our Return & Refund Policy. Credits are:

BNR may modify or discontinue the credit program with 30 days notice.

8.9 Sales Tax — Client Shop

BNR operates as a marketplace facilitator for sales tax purposes and collects and remits applicable state and local sales tax on taxable Client Shop transactions through TaxJar across all applicable U.S. jurisdictions.

9. Payment Processing and Disputes

BNR's Role: All payment processing is performed by Stripe, Inc. BNR does not control Stripe's processing timelines.

Failed Payments: BNR is not liable for failed wallet top-ups due to insufficient funds, card declines, or bank-initiated holds. It is your responsibility to maintain sufficient wallet balance for upcoming bookings and purchases.

Disputed Charges: Before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer, you agree to first contact BNR at bnrcustomerservice@gmail.com and allow 5 business days to investigate and resolve the dispute. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting BNR may result in account suspension per Section 4.4.

10. Platform Liability Limitation

READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT LIMITS BNR'S LIABILITY TO YOU.

BNR provides a technology marketplace only. BNR makes no representations or warranties regarding:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: BNR's total cumulative liability for any and all claims shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to BNR in the 30 days immediately preceding the claim.

BNR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, EVEN IF BNR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BNR, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law; (d) any dispute between you and a Barber; or (e) any dispute between you and a third-party retailer arising from a Client Shop purchase.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

13. Termination

BNR may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at BNR's sole discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination: pending orders will be processed per normal schedule; wallet balances will be refunded per Section 5; Previewer Credits are non-refundable.

14. Sales Tax — Booking Services

BNR operates as a marketplace facilitator for sales tax purposes and collects and remits applicable state and local sales tax on taxable booking transactions through TaxJar across all applicable U.S. jurisdictions.

15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Internal Resolution First: Before pursuing any external dispute resolution, you agree to contact BNR at bnrcustomerservice@gmail.com and allow 30 days for internal resolution.

Binding Arbitration: Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform that cannot be resolved internally shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court.

Class Action Waiver: YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST BNR. All disputes must be brought in your individual capacity only.

Jury Trial Waiver: YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL FOR ANY CLAIM SUBJECT TO THESE TERMS.

Arbitration will take place in Ada County, Idaho, or via videoconference for claims under $25,000. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding. This clause does not prevent either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in court to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of law principles. To the extent any dispute proceeds in court rather than arbitration, you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in Ada County, Idaho.

17. State-Specific Rights

Idaho Residents

BNR complies with the Idaho Consumer Protection Act, Idaho Code §§ 48-601 through 48-619. Contact the Idaho Attorney General at ag.idaho.gov or (208) 334-2424.

California Residents

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. See our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable California consumer right.

New York Residents

Nothing in these Terms limits rights under New York General Business Law Sections 349 or 350. Contact the NY Attorney General at ag.ny.gov.

New Jersey Residents

Nothing in these Terms limits rights under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, N.J.S.A. 56:8-1 et seq. Contact the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs at njconsumeraffairs.gov.

18. Modifications to Terms

BNR reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, BNR will provide at least 30 days advance notice via email and in-platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BNR with respect to the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
